This is waaay long overdue but I wanted to share with you (officially) what I was able to accomplish on my first run of the Tour de Fleece 2009!

TdF 2009: Days 10-16

Finally, here is the result of my work for the past week or so.  I wasn’t sure I’d get it all done but I did!  I’m really really happy with how it all turned out and cannot believe I spun up 8.5ounces of superwash merino wool and turned it into 480yards of handspun yarn!  So [...]

TdF 2009: Days 5-9

The merino doesn’t feel as slippery as it did on the first day of the Tour but it’s definitely still a challenge for me.

TdF 2009: Days 3 & 4

I finally finished the first bobbin of my BMFA Sheep 2 Shoe kit!  My shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers are all starting to ache less and the muscle memory is kicking in!  Thank goodness!
